Frontline Manager
Leadership Development Program
This program will bring together experienced, newer and aspiring Frontline Managers from a variety of retail grocery stores represented by UFCW 3000. The classes will provide a structured learning environment to draw upon the experience of the participants who will help each other understand and implement best practices of leadership and avoid pitfalls as they lead their in-store teams.

Overviews of the Washington state grocery industry, UFCW 3000 and its labor-management partnerships, and store operations.
Capstone Project
Participants will design and implement a project with specific objectives for their in-store team(s). Participants will receive direction about how to design their capstone projects in class.
Examples of capstone projects include:

Participants improving their own time management skills

Improving attendance within participant's team

Coaching team members on key skills like customer service

and more!

Coaching sessions will support participants as they work to implement their capstone project.
Where is the program?
In-person Classes will be conducted at
5030 1st Ave S, Suite 200, Seattle, WA 98134

Any online discussions will be held via Zoom. Additionally, any coaching sessions will be individually scheduled between program participant and their coach, and can be done via phone or Zoom, pending individual preference.
